About Scott Aspect eRide 20 2019
The Scott Aspect eRide 20 features proven electric assist technology in a comfortable off-road package. Now with an integrated battery, and powered by a 508Wh Bosch drive system, the Aspect eRide will give you hours of trail riding energy.
Scott eRIDE Tech Speed Sensor: Classic E-Bike systems use a speed sensor consisting of a magnet fixed onto a spoke of the rear wheel and the sensor itself normally located on the left chainstay. This sensor gives information to the drive unit regarding the speed which is crucial for assist management. That's why; Scott’ve developed a patented magnet mount to improve the system's integration and reliability. The magnet has been integrated into the lock ring of the Shimano rotor and the sensor is fixed in the left dropout. As a result the sensor and the magnet, compared with more traditional positioning, are now more integrated and protected from impact and dirt- both normal consequences of off road riding. Direct integration into the lock ring. Scott patented solution. Improved assist management.
Integrated Kickstand Mount: A bike deserves better than to lie on the ground when you are checking the lines of the trail or when you are taking a break. This is Scott they have integrated a kickstand mount on the chainstay. To provide a perfect integration and an optimal stability for all types of terrain, the kickstand is directly fixed into the frame. Stability. Integration. Easy fixation.
Bosch Drive Unit: The drive unit combines torque and smoothness. Thanks to its compact design, the system is attached to the bottom bracket, which results in an optimal center of gravity. The drive unit is equipped with an electronic control system with three sensors for force, cadence and speed, ensuring optimal balance between motor and pedaling. 1000 sensor measurements per second. More powerful electronics with a modern 32-bit processor.
Bosch Battery: The battery is impressively easy to use. Thanks to an integrated locking system, the battery can be removed and re-attached just like any “plug & play” device and can be completely charged in its own charger in a record time of only 4:30 hours. Other features: Convenient charging is now possible directly on the e-bike, Separate charging status display and Depending on the terrain and rider performance, up to 120 km range (on 500Wh capacity). Weight 2.5kg
