BICYCLE WORKSHOP MECHANIC / WORKSHOP MANAGER - CARNEGIE, HIGHPOINT, NUNAWADING & MORNINGTON

Bicycle experience essential

Bicycle Superstore is seeking an experienced Workshop Mechanic for our Carnegie, Highpoint, Nunawading and Mornington stores. You will be an important member of our team, with a network of other stores behind you for support. You will be responsible for consistently performing bicycle repairs and delivering an extraordinarily high level of customer service. You should have experience in the industry, be eager and enthusiastic.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Experience with all facets of servicing, building and repairing bicycles

  • Ability to maintain shop cleanliness and tidiness

  • Retail/customer service experience

  • Have an eye for detail

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR PART TIME - EASTERN SUBURBS

With over 30 years of experience selling bicycles, bicycle parts and accessories and being one of the largest chains of bicycle stores within Victoria, Bicycle Superstore is currently expanding its business model with an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to become part of a small tightly knit and trusted team. Located in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs, this new role offers the opportunity for career growth in Warehouse and fulfilment Management. To begin with you will be responsible for overseeing a small loyal team and be directly responsible for the processing and receiving of all inward and outward bound goods to our East Warehouse, Oversee and support the picking and packing of on-line orders and play a pivotal role within the expansion of the business.

To be considered for this role you must be experienced in warehouse operations, love working in a fast paced environment, show that you have a very accurate eye for detail, can work autonomously, be comfortable working with computers and have a strong work ethic with a can do attitude.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee and coordination of daily warehouse operations cleaning and safety procedures

  • Processing and receiving of all incoming and outgoing goods

  • Unpacking and organisation of all incoming goods maintaining strict order and organisation within the warehouse

  • Management and processing of all Internal Transfer Orders

  • Development and processing of Shipping and Fulfilment Reports ensuring that clear instruction is provided to picking and packing team members resulting in all customer orders being fulfilled in an efficient and timely manner

  • Assisting in the picking and packaging of stock as required to support other members of the team

  • Ensuring accuracy in stock records including cyclical stocktaking as instructed

  • Communication with Store Manager and other Key Stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with proven skills in team leadership

  • Previous Warehouse organisation and managing online orders

  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritization skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Fast and keen learner with a positive and driven attitude

  • Experience in the use of computer systems and Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Good level of written and verbal communication skills

  • Current driver’s licence and own vehicle

  • Forklift licence desirable

  • Qualifications in Warehousing desirable

  • Knowledge of bicycle parts and accessories desirable.

  • Physically Fit and Healthy with repetitive lifting and bending required
