STORE OPERATIONS MANAGER

As the Store Operations Manager you will be responsible for the management of our 7 medium-to- large footprint stores, ensuring that the stores are presented and merchandised to a high standard and that customer service is at the forefront of all our teams strive to deliver. You would be responsible for overseeing and reporting on store performance both financially and operationally as well as ensuring that company processes and systems are understood and followed by Store Managers and their staff and that the Store Managers are supported in their operations through delivering excellence in communications, training and through leading with integrity and professionalism.

With all stores located around Metro Melbourne, Geelong and Mornington Peninsula there is no need to check that your frequent flyer details are up to date as you have the luxury of knowing that you will be home at the end of each day. A valid driver’s licence and vehicle will be required to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and enhance the capacity of teams to be able to deliver excellence in customer service.
  • Create a positive culture through leading by example, coaching and mentoring Store Managers and Store Staff. 
  • Act as the main point of contact between the stores and head office which will result in the need and ability to communicate clearly and concisely to help aid in the making of decisions. 
  • Oversee and report on store rosters ensuring that wage expenses are controlled against budgets and that team rosters are scheduled in advance.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses amongst each of your teams and coordinate training and act as a mentor to ensure that teams are empowered and equipped to make better decisions.
  • Generate weekly Store Operations Reports helping teams understand performance against set objectives on a weekly basis
  • Oversee and lead monthly rolling stocktakes to ensure stock control is maintained and that stock values are accurate. 
  • Work with the General Manger and other key members of the Senior Management team to help ensure that Bicycle Superstore continues to be a brand that our teams are proud of and that our customers love to shop with.

WORKSHOP HEAD MECHANIC - CARNEGIE

Bicycle Superstore is seeking an experienced Workshop Head Mechanic. You will be an important member of our team, with a network of other stores behind you for support. You will be responsible for consistently performing bicycle repairs and delivering an extraordinarily high level of customer service. You should have experience in the industry, be eager and enthusiastic.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Experience with all facets of servicing, building and repairing bicycles
  • Ability to maintain shop cleanliness and tidiness
  • Retail/customer service experience
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Take pride in your work
  • An absolute passion to be successful and lift the performance of the team

  • Ability to work unsupervised
