Introducing the all-new 2026 Scott Addict

Because road cycling isn’t only about racing. It’s also about experience and connection. With the new Addict philosophy, you have a bike that celebrates the cycling community and brings people together to share their journey—no matter who you are, how fast you ride, or where the road takes you. The new Addict prioritizes comfort and performance, but above all, the spirit of adventure and the riding experience.
UNMATCHED COMFORT
The Addict is designed for all-day comfort. By reshaping the seat tube and refining tube profiles, Scott have achieved 25% more compliance than the race-focused Addict RC and 50% more than the outgoing Addict.

By slimming down the seat tube just below the seat-stay junction, they’ve unlocked more vertical compliance—allowing the seat tube to flex forward with the terrain. A refined and slimmer top tube adds further vertical compliance, while dropped seat stays flex outward to absorb vibrations and enhance overall ride smoothness.

Achieving the perfect balance between comfort and performance isn’t an easy task. Through extensive simulations and in-house carbon layup expertise, Scott dialed in the exact amount of frame flex to smooth out road imperfections without ever feeling soft or bouncy.

MORE CLEARANCE, MORE CONFIDENCE
The new Addict now accommodates up to 38mm tires—unlocking a whole new level of comfort and control. With the ability to ride wider, lower-pressure tyres, you’ll enjoy enhanced vibration damping on rough roads and confident grip through every corner.

Wider tyres don’t just smooth the ride; they also deliver lower rolling resistance, helping you go further with less effort. On long, recreational rides, that means more smiles per kilometer. And when comfort and momentum matter most, the minimal aero loss is well worth the gain in efficiency and ride feel.

REFINED GEOMETRY FOR A RELAXED RIDE
Scott made subtle but impactful tweaks to the Addict’s geometry to elevate comfort and handling.
The bike is built for riders who spend long days on the saddle, with comfort a key consideration. Featuring a 5mm-higher stack and 5mm-shorter reach, the new Addict’s relaxed geometry delivers a naturally upright riding position that feels effortless from the first kilometer to the last.

The Addict is designed so that riding with 0mm spacers on the new Addict gives you the same position as riding with 35mm spacers on the Addict RC—ensuring a more upright and enjoyable position.

Scott also fine-tuned the BB drop and fork rake to accommodate larger tyres without compromising performance. And to add a touch of playfulness and agility to every ride, they shortened the chainstays by 2mm. Small changes that make a big difference to the riding experience.

CARBON EXPERTISE
The Addict is available in two proven carbon layups. The HMF version strikes the perfect balance between lightweight construction, stiffness, and comfort, while the HMX version takes performance to the next level.

By using higher-modulus carbon fibers, material can be removed without compromising strength, resulting in an even lighter frame that maintains all the ride characteristics you expect.

The Addict is built for comfort—but make no mistake, this bike is anything but soft or blurry. With head tube and bottom-bracket stiffness at the same level as the Addict RC, it delivers confident, precise handling and high responsive power transfer.

SAVE-THE-DAY KIT
Never get caught unprepared. Scott have seamlessly integrated a repair kit into the downtube near the bottom bracket. It’s always there when you need it and invisible when you don’t. No more tubes, tyres levers or pumps in your jersey pocket.

When integrating the repair kit, their goal was clear: include this essential feature without compromising performance. The added weight gain is minimal and, by positioning the kit low on the frame, they optimized the Addict's center of gravity for balanced and confident handling.

FRAME-BAG COMPATIBLE
On long rides, some essentials need to stay out of sight—others should always be within easy reach. That’s why the Addict can be equipped with a sleek, custom front-triangle bag that's as practical as it is stylish. It’s perfect for storing your rain jacket, snacks, phone, wallet—or even your favourite gummy bears. A one-handed zipper on the right makes for easy access while riding, while a stretch mesh pocket on the left gives you quicker access to small items.

And if minimalism is more your thing, no problem. The bag is easy to attach and remove. Thanks to integrated mounting points hidden under the top tube—finished with clean rubber covers when not in use—you get all the functionality without compromising the Addict's sleek silhouette or adding unnecessary weight.

SYNCROS INTEGRATION
Long days on the saddle require a dialed-in fit. That’s why Scott have ensured full compatibility on the new Addict with a wide range of Syncros components, giving more options to fine-tune position and performance. Many of the small parts on the new Addict are interchangeable with the Addict RC, creating a versatile ecosystem of components. Whether you prefer the new Addict-specific stem, the RC stem, or the integrated Syncros cockpit, the choice is yours. Plus, all spacers and stem covers are cross-compatible for seamless customization.

When it comes to touchpoints, Scott have left traditional round bars behind. Every handlebar on the new Addict lineup features smooth surfaces and refined ergonomics—designed to feel just right, kilometer after kilometer.

The new Addict now features the same D-shape seat post found on the Addict RC. This also means you can run Scott's comfort-focused seat post with an integrated rear light, giving you added visibility without sacrificing style or weight.
They've also upgraded the seat-post clamp, replacing the traditional round collar with the elegant integrated clamp from the Addict RC. The result? A cleaner and more sophisticated design.

USER-FRIENDLY ADJUSTMENTS
As they did for the Addict RC, Scott have engineered the new Addict to be effortlessly adjustable, setting a new standard in ease of setup. By streamlining bolt specifications and integrating a universal tool, they've revolutionised the adjustment process. Located discreetly within the cockpit or handlebar drop, the T25 key empowers riders to fine-tune stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle clamps, and even bottle cages with unparalleled simplicity. This innovative solution not only enhances user experience but also simplifies setup procedures for mechanics.

BEST-IN-CLASS WEIGHT
While the Addict is built for comfort and long-distance performance, they haven’t forgotten their basics—Scott has a proud history of creating some of the lightest bikes in the world. That legacy lives on the new Addict, where every detail was carefully engineered to keep weight to a minimum. And the results speak for themselves.

The Addict is now available in two carbon layup options-HMX and HMF-allowing us to offer both a superlight performance model for weight-conscious riders and a more accessible option without compromising ride quality.

At just 780g, the Addict HMX frame is one of the lightest in the recreational category. It’s 50g lighter than the previous-generation Addict RC SL we launched in 2020.
Even the more budget-friendly HMF version sees a 70g weight reduction compared to its predecessor, delivering lightweight performance across the entire lineup.
