Apollo made a lot of noise in 2022 with its redesigned Apollo City. Commuters snapped it up because of its powerful motor, great suspension, & a swathe of useful features. While the City 2022 was many things, some found it a little on the heavy side.

Fortunately, the Apollo Air weighs in at 10kgs lighter than the lightest Apollo City 2022. Despite that, you’ll still find all the useful features you want and the great performance you need at a very friendly price.

While the original Air models were popular, riders wanted more: more power; more range. more speed; more features. Apollo listened, blended the 2021 Air & Air Pro into one model, and worked on improving every feature.

The Apollo Air 2022 boasts a 500W motor, which is an improvement on both the 2021 Air & Air Pro’s respective 250W & 350W motors. This upgraded motor will send you comfortably to 34 kph.

The Air 2022’s battery is closer to the power unit of the Air’s older sibling, the Apollo City 2022. While a little lower in voltage than the City, the Air is 10kg lighter, meaning it will give you enough power to get up to 50km per charge.

Regen braking uses the motor to slow the scooter so it isn’t quite as brutal as disc or drum brakes. It also helps push charge back into the battery, helping the Air to run for longer.

The Air 2022 comes with improved tyres & tubes. Not only does this improve grip & durability, but reduces the chance of punctures.

Thanks to its aluminium build, the Air 2022 still weighs in at only 17kg, which is actually 0.5 kg lighter than the 2021 Apollo Air Pro.

The Apollo Air comes with forked front suspension as standard, so you can expect a comfortable ride, even with the occasional pothole or bump in the road.

Syncing the Air 2022 with the Apollo app not only unlocks ride navigation, but also allows you to change power settings, speed settings, and even how strong the regenerative brakes are.

Whether you want a scooter to take you to the shops & back, cover the last mile between your work and the closest station/ car park, or to replace your entire commute altogether, the Apollo Air 2022 fills many gaps in today’s market. Please note we are unable to ship selected bike brands, we are currently only able to ship Jamis, Eastern, Cruzee, Globber & Torker bikes. We do however offer Home Delivery of all bike brands in selected areas of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Geelong regions as well as Click and Collect from your local Bicycle Superstore.

Shipped orders will be dispatched within two business days for direct to door orders excluding orders with stock located at Warehouse 2 which will dispatch within five business days. We provide free shipping on orders over $79 AUD (excluding bikes and bulky good items), Australia wide via Australia Post and TNT. For orders under $79 we charge a flat rate of $9.95 AUD Australia wide ($14.95 AUD to Western Australia), via Australia Post and TNT. Please note that ‘bulky good’ items will incur an additional shipping fee, this includes indoor trainers, bike trailers, car racks, roof racks, child seats and some scooters. Please see the specific product page for more details.

All orders will be provided with a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Please note a signature is required upon delivery so please ensure you provide an address where someone is there to sign. If you would like to authorise for your order to be left at your door or in your mailbox, please specify details in the delivery instructions. Please note, if you elect for your parcel to be left at your premises, we cannot be responsible if the parcel goes missing. If you're not at home, Australia Post will leave a card or if you have a MyPost account via the AusPost app, email, or SMS.

We currently do not offer international shipping.

Deliveries within Australian major cities can arrive within 5 business days from the date of dispatch. Some interstate and rural areas can take up to 10 business days.

Home Delivery Service
For Home Delivery orders, our customer service team will be in contact to coordinate a delivery time to ensure that we can deliver your goods within an agreed time window. Please note that Home Delivery Service is only available for orders that include bulky goods such as bikes, indoor trainers, baby seats, car racks and scooters within selected postcodes within the Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Geelong Regions for a delivery fee ranging from $25 - $50. A full list of these areas and description of ‘bulky good’ items can be referenced by referring to our Home Delivery section.

Free Click & Collect from Store
You can order products on our website and collect them from any Bicycle Superstore Location. Place your order online and select Click and Collect as your shipping method at the chosen pickup location. Depending on our stock on hand at each location and your product selection, you'll be given your estimated pickup time frame.

Smaller items that are in-stock will be ready for collection within 4 business hours from the time of placing your order. Products that need to be transferred from another location or bikes that need to be built may take up to 5 business days to be ready for collection.

We’ll send you an sms when your order’s ready to collect.

To collect your order you must bring your order confirmation email, valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and your credit card used for the transaction to the store.

You can check our current stock at each store location by clicking the find in store button on the specific product page.

Please note Giant, Liv & Momentum products are not available for Click and Collect from our Geelong store.

For returns & exchanges of purchases made in-store or via Click & Collect please return them to your point of purchase or collection.

Online Purchases

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted for purchases made through www.bicyclesuperstore.com.au. For returns & exchanges of purchases made in-store or via Click & Collect please return them to your point of purchase or collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your items must be in their original packaging and condition, unworn, unused and free of any marks or damage and with all original tags attached unless the item is faulty.

We do not accept returns on sale or discounted items unless the item is faulty.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

·     Your original sales order number.

·     Which items you wish to return or exchange

·     Explain your reason for return & if you require an exchange or a refund.

Returns that have not been authorised will NOT be accepted.

Return shipping must be prepaid and a traceable method to ensure safe and documented delivery. Bicycle Superstore will not be responsible for missing incoming deliveries.
